Just a quick question I have guys, say I buy an iPhone 5 from an Apple store here in the UK to give to a friend in Belgium, if they need to make any warranty claims would they be able to do so at their Apple store or would it need to be done in the UK?

Also, just to confirm, the handsets from Apple will be fully unlocked so the nano sim card from Belgium should work in the handset?

Thanks in advance

Their warranty for phones is normally valid within the country of purchase only.

Products that do not use SIM's have international warranty.
