Hi All
I have an iMac which i totally love.
I bought a 3tb external HD which i am currently using as a time machine. The HD on the iMac is only 1TB so there was plenty of space to do some extra backs of the laptops in the house (all 4 of them) so everything is nicely stored on this drive.
Anyway, what i have noticed is that my iMac is running out of space and i put this down to the amount of stuff i have in iTunes.
What i would like to do i move all of my iTunes stuff from my iMac and onto a different HD (or maybe the same one if there is space).
Anyone know how to do this?

the main thing as mentioned in the apple article is to keep the library files, you can move this also to the external drive if you like but as its so small its probably worth keeping it where it is.

ive moved between laptops, macbooks, computers and imacs and still kept all my playcount history etc. i dont do it quite like they say, instead i manually copy and paste the folders.
