I currently have a Honeywell Evohome Thermostat with smart TRVs in each room (which works very well) and integrates with my Amazon Echo's so I can say "Set Living Room to 21 degrees" etc. which changes the temperature to the new setting until the next scheduled temperature change for that room, which generally works well, slightly annoying if it's just a few minutes before the change but easy enough to work round that.
I recently bought an Apple Homepod Mini to test, with the thought of eventually switching all the Echo's over to Apple kit, however, I find that if I ask Siri to change the temperature in a room using the same command as for the Echo, then that is permanent override that replaces the schedule until I go into the Honeywell app and turn off the override, which is a bit annoying. Does anyone know if there's a way to change this behaviour? A setting, or a different command to use? As currently it puts me off making the change to Homekit.
