Apple iBook 12" 1.33Ghz

I would like to hear peoples oppinions on the Apple iBook from those that have used them.

The only Apple product I have ever handled is the 30GB Video iPod and it felt really solid.

Are Apple's laptop's the same? Budget PC laptops of the same price tend to creak, the keyboards have bounce or the screen's are poor, not to mention the battery life. How does the iBook compare?

well.. iBooks feel like theyre made of quality to me.. i have a pc laptop and have used an ibook and being a video editor i must say i did prefer the apple..

Other than being a Mac they are excellent computers.

Edit: That Uber gaming site... is it designed to give you epilepsy naffa?

word of advice if your gunna buy a ibook, there upgrading their range to the new intel core dueo chips sometime later this year, so you may want to hold off till then and see how it goes

If you can get it cheap it's good. The G4 doesn't have very good floating point power but for general use like the Internet/email/word processing, you can't go wrong.

There's this for one, but it's kinda obvious they're going to get Yonah processors (if not Core Duo) eventually.
At the end of the day, Apple never come out and say what they're going to be changing (shock horror ), so there's an army of rumour sites - some not always that far from the truth either.

So there's no pictures of them (I hear they're going to design them?) from looking on google I see they were meant to be at the January macworld expo, I guess they weren't there else we'd have pictures?
