Apple ID issues

Hi

Before I setup my iphone 4s, my apple id was just a username without any @Blahblah, but during the iphone4 setup it forced me to enter an email address which was different from the registered one. Now my apple id has changed to the email address and I can't seem to change it back. :mad:

Any ideas or is this a call to apple?

I dont think you'll be able to get it changed back, but if you don't mind me asking, does it really matter or do you have something depending on it?

I have serveal 100s machines registered at work with it, it just means that I have to change the apple IDs on them all when I get back

Why do you have hundreds of machines setup with your apple id out of interest?
