I have just got an iphone and already have a kindle and downloaded the kindle app for it. Is there any way of reading my kindle library without jailbreaking my phone?

Thanks

I assume it is the same as other kindle apps (including iPad) in this respect. Just ensure you register it with the same account details as you used to purchase the Kindle books and they should show up in your archive, ready to download.

As above log in with the same account your kindle is registered with and then sync to download your books to the iPhone, works the same with the iPad.

Two thoughts. One, as stated above, they should appear in your archive. They will probably not show up in your library at first. There should be an option called archived items, possibly with a number in brackets.

Alternatively, login to the Amazon website to manage your Kindle. You should be able to see here if the iPhone Kindle app is registered at all. Also, there should be a list of purchased books and the option to deliver them to any registered device.

I've had this work on two iPads, two PCs and an Android tab and there is no trick to it. If it does not play ball as expected though, you may have to contact Amazon for support.

OK I worked it out. You go into iTunes and then into your phone and then onto the section for Apps. Then at the bottom there is a section for transfering documents from device to device.

Thought I would mention it in case someone was having the same trouble.
