My iPod is just out of warranty and is completely dead, won't even start. Any idea how much it'll cost to repair? Might just buy a new one outright...

Mine did that, wouldnt hold a charge, even with a new battery, I didnt want to go through apple as i heard there support costs were a joke... And to be honest I was sick of getting replacement ipods (when within warranty period). So I just went out and bought a 80GB Zune player, love it. Prefer it to my Apple ipod 60GB so far.
