I know they're compatible... Just love the sleekness of them.

Opinions? :)

i thought drivers were very limited and buttons got confuzeled? if not i shall seriously contemplate one :D

Yea, it works fine. I'm using one right now on windows 7 in fact (though you will need to sortout a software workaround for things like print screen).

My usual keyboard is the logitech G15, and I'm only using it because my main rig is in another city so I half inched my sister's kit for the time being.

I must say, it took some time to adjust to it - but I now really like using it. It takes much less effort to type things and I think my typing has got faster. I reckon I will have to buy one when I get back to my main system.

awesome keyboard, i'm typing this on my one right now :D all the keys work though some have different assignments under windows but full basic usage is there :D

PC user here with that Apple keyboard.. if you think its sleek and sexy, just get it!

You wont be disappointed at all mate :)

I dont use the drivers it works right out the box. the only button that doesnt work is "print screen", Windows 7 snipping tool & Fraps solves that. Just get one its glorious to type on :D not ideal for gaming but still acceptable and not half bad. I'll probably get that Logitech G13 to game on.

I've accidentally spilt a whole glass of water over it and it suffered no ill effects.

Once you get used to Chiclet keys theres no turning back :D

they work perfectly. well that is if your on w7, and there so sexy. but my fingers are somtimes too fat

I had the mentioned keyboard for a while, however its not good for gaming and it certainly isn't good for typing if you touch type. After using it for a while my typing speed on a conventional keyboard dropped considerably due to the different key sizes (keys on the apple keyboard are slightly bigger). In the end I gave it to my mum who thought it looked pretty. I didn't tell her about the missing print screen button ;)

I use one for the living room W7 PC. The only issue is that @ and " are the wrong way around... I expect I can select a different keyboard layout to fix that.

I don't agree. I worked as a typist for a stint a few months back and hooked my apple keyboard up to my laptop precisely because it improves speed when touch typing significantly. I don't think its the key sizes that makes the difference either, so much as the difference in the amount you have to depress the keys before you get a response. Faster the better imo though. :p

saitek eclipse 2 > apple keyboard

I had the Saitek. Its very pretty glowing purple or blue, and epic geekiness with those red keys whilst playing the likes of defcon or something similarly bloody.

But I grew up. Gave it to my mate for nothing, bought an apple keyboard, never looked back since.

Not sure if its been mentioned yet, but Saitek do an Apple Keyboard clone for windows. Think its called the Saitek slim alu. Quite rare, but you can also get a wireless version in the same size i.e. unlike the number pad lacking bluetooth apple keyboard.

saitek eclipse 2 > apple keyboard

Are you kidding? I had the saitek, now I know the error of my ways. It's plastic junk, the feet broke off, it flexes like anything and it looks like something for nerds!

Now I have a shiney apple keyboard (last gen, not aluminium) loads better.

Does the last gen work with pc's just the same as the current version? I loved the one that came with the g3 imacs, just figured it was serial and that the keys wouldn't be programmable in XPp64 or W7. : (

Really? Isn't that the clear one with black keys? Wasn't so keen on them, especially that ridiculous round mouse! I'm using the plastic one with white keys. Works on windows 7 fine, but I haven't got a solution for print screen button yet... Volume controls work though, and of course @ and " are swapped.

The keys are in the wrong place. The placement of # and @ annoy me.

I prefer my G15 or my Dell QuietKey (the new one).
