Hi, I'm looking at the Apple wired Keyboard & Mighty Mouse for my new Mini, although its adds up to £60 in total, is this worth the price tag? Is it really that fantastic?

I quite like the keyboards, but if it wasn't for the fact it's hard to find a matching mouse I really wouldn't bother with the Mighty Mouse.

I might buy the Wired Keyboard (apple) and then just use my razer copperhead (i know it works because i was using it with the mac earlier).

Don't go near the mighty mouse.

Every one I've had have gone faulty in some way.

The new keyboards are sexy though! :D

I have a mighty mouse, and the tracker ball is going all gay already :( Only had it a few months. Might have to clean it then sell it on...

the keyboards are pretty nice.

however I echo the comments that the Mighty Mouse is pretty crap. The rollerball is nice, but everything else is rubbish. Only one button (across both sides - you squeeze the sides of the mouse) on the sides. And the surface buttons are touch sensitive, so if you have the LMB touched, but you want to right click it registers as a left click.

Personally, i love the keyboard, i would have to say its one of the best quality keyboards i have ever used. I've got the older white one though for my mac mini. The new one is really nice as well, i would upgrade if the wireless one was full size! :)

The mighty mouse really is a marmite mouse, you either love it or hate it. I personally love it as it seems to compliment osx well. Ok, so yes, you could map the buttons on another mouse to link to expose etc, but half of it is looks too, i'll admit. I really like it (i love 360 scrolling as well), but i guess going to a store an trying one would be the best option before buying one new. The trackball does get a bit stuck sometimes (due to dust as its really sensitive), but then again, all you need to do is lick your finger on the top, move it 360 and it works 100% again, i might have to do this once a month.

If you're thinking about a wired mighty mouse, i'll be selling mine once my wireless once is delivered (come on royal mail!). Would be doing it for £17inc if you can wait a week or so :)

When we got a new 20" iMac at work I hated the new flat style keyboard (looked like sex though :D ) but after using it I liked it - a lot. Made the transfer to my MacBook easy though!

The "Mighty Mouse" sucks, so many have broken at work I would never own one myself. Get one of them razor thingies that people have recommended. I would...

Razer mice work on it (my copperhead was fine) and you can get the Razer Pro(in white, matches mac colour scheme) off OCUK.

Was the first thing I went to look for and couldn't find.

Top man. :)

Cheers Will. Will have a look around and see what suits. I like the look of the Razer pro but having a MBP and the new Apple keyboard; my setup is going to be more 'aliminiumy' than the classic white.

Scrolling up and down on the MM is fine, left to right though... my God. Its unnatural. There isnt a joint in your index finger that goes that way! Maybe its just me but I find it one one the most awkward functions ever.

I will admit though, the ONE thing I actually do like about the MM is the side "squeeze" buttons. Map Expose to those and its brilliant.

I just map Expose to the click on the mouse wheel on my MS mouse though so I dont miss it. :)

picked up an imac yesterday, very nice enjoying it but the mighty blows!! its like 50dpi ive never used such a slow mouse only got the 20" and its like tracking across a whales belly. so using my razer pro 1.6 works a charm! just dont install the razer drivers turns it into a might mouse!
