Hi

Can you guys tell me if the new keyboards for the apples (real slim ones) work on a PC, are they USB or something???

Thanks

Hayley

As far as I'm aware they either use USB (if wired) or Bluetooth (if wireless) so provided your computer can deal with those options I'd be fairly sure you'll be fine. You might want to wait for confirmation of that though.

I've done it before, so yes, they do work. The mac keyboard layout is a little different but the cmd key works as the windows key.

Yes they do, I'm typing on one right now on windows. The only issue I had was there is no print screen key, but there is a tonne of software and guides to fix this.

It will work. The keyboard is American in layout though.

No it's not, American keyboards don't have a £.

The British Apple keyboard has the @ above the two where you might be used to it being ".

(To be fair, it actually makes more sense to have " as shift+')

Its kind of a weird hybrid between the two.

My girlfriend had one for a while and just remapped some of the keys.

<pedantic> I meant the positions of " and @ </pedantic>

Better? :p

I always thought that ' and @ should be swapped around on the key because the apostrophe always goes at the top of the line... maybe it's just me. I probably use it more though so it's good where it is :p

And another thing, i use : more than ;.
