Riteo,

Looking at my options and im just curious what apple can offer.

I currently have a HTPC downstairs running vista ultimate for my media centre. This has 2 dual tuner tv cards in it.

I use this to stream live tv and recorded tv to my room upstairs (No aerial point and poor reception) and use an xbox 360 as my media extender.

What can, if anything, apple offer that can do this.
 
I have indeed had a quick look into it, but cant seem to find anything in relation to streaming live from one mac to another... in the sense that there would be the machine upstairs recieving the live tv feed from downstairs. Needs to have some sort of EPG and recording capability I forgot to add...
 
At the moment I haven't found anything either.

EyeTV can import recordings to iTunes, which can then be played back by AppleTV system, however there is no networked LiveTV solution at the moment.

At the moment you can playback recorded media but not LiveTV.

At the moment I think this is the only real flaw with Apple for HTPC for me.
