Hey all,

I've been using my Razer Deathadder mouse for years now - but it has suddenly started to give up :(

I've been thinking about getting the Magic Mouse - I like the gestures on the trackpad, but I prefer using a mouse...

However, occasionally I'll play games on my Macbook, and was wondering what the mouse was like for gaming?

Should I consider other mice or should I go for a "Magic Mouse"? :p

Thanks,

Marky

Gaming on MM? Lol no way. Don't do it.

It's ergonomically terrible, no feel of buttons (duh!), no feel of scroll wheel (double duh), no thumb button and risk of pressing the wrong button of doing the wrong gesture easily.

Never used a Magic Mouse (though I did have a Mighty Mouse and hated it), but I've had Razers for yonks now: Diamondback, Copperhead and currently the Mamba. I'd say stick with Razer :)

Magic Trackpad + awesome mouse = joy :D Best of both worlds.

It's really horrible to use. Have a look at the Logitech Performance Mouse MX, it's very comfortable to use and okay for casual gaming - I whip out my G400 for anything more than that.

Had a magic mouse with my imac for three years and its great to use once you get the hang of it.

I'm no gamer but I would imagine it all depends on what you are playing?
