Apple refubs

I'm buying a Macbook Pro in June and wondered if anyone has bought any Apple products from the refurbished store? They are around £250 cheaper than the store and have the 12 warrenty ect, I just don't want it to turn up covered in scratches or dents. If not I can use a education discount to get the 15" 2.33Ghz Macbook Pro for £1,562, but a refurb is £1,429 which is a better price.

My bros got the EOS 1D mk II but that's too pricey, and I was looking at the 400D for a suitable option for myself. Comments?

Yeah, it's great had it quite a while now and had no problems with it what so ever. It always has good reviews in the photography forum

Yeah the 2.16Ghz models have 33% of and the 2.33Ghz models have 16% off IIRC. Will probably go for a refurb, or maybe a brand new one on the bay, someone was selling brand new Macbook Pro's 17" 2.33Ghz, top spec ect.. for £1,350. Shame I don't have the money yet
