Update for most Intel-Mac's!

Keyboard update as well, but interesting EFI for across the line? Not just one specific model?

What think?

Any news on what it is?

Probably just a minor bug fix. I hate firmware updates because it means restarting.

Well being I have just noticed you have to load it up manually once it has downloaded has taken me by surprise!

Basically I'm now NOT sure if I at all did iMac's Graphics Update which is in my Utilities Folder. :p

You mount it yourself, load and then the dialog box requests it turned off? After witch you hold the power button on till you hear a long beep!

All news to me...haha.

:p

PS. Will it be ok for me to try the old iMac Gfx update again?

Updated EFI firmware last night on my MBP, it has definitely made a difference to boot times, shaved a few seconds off and the desktop icons and menubar items appear almost instantly now! (before it used to take maybe 10-20s to load everything)
thumbs up from me :)

Applied the 1.3 EFI update on my Mac Pro last week.

I don't think I held the button down for long enough the first time, the Mac Pro just restarted as normal.

Did it a second time and it applied successfully :)

Applied the aluminium keyboard firmware this morning, which seemed weird.

Installed them both tonight, and also retried that iMac Graphics Update!

I cannot say there is a difference, maybe safari is snappier ;)

I'm so close to selling my MacBook while it's still worth something due to the appalling performance of the AirPort card. It was fantastic at the start and over the course of various upgrades it's just turned to crap.
