We'll my iPhone 4s has been doing the update for the last 10 minutes. The progress bar is halfway and has been like that for a while. Should I be concerned ??

Might be an idea to leave it a while longer but i'd say anything more than 30 mins then be concerned. You then need to be looking in to going in DFU mode then restoring via iTunes
Just updated my iPhone 5/re-jailbroken and back to everything has before all in under 30 mins.

Why does it always default bluetooth on. It remembers every other setting, why not the fact that I like to have bluetooth turned OFF. Grr

my 5 did the update very quickly, cant say i have noticed anything, but no ever had any problems other then the charge port being crap until it was changed out

Still not fixed the safari and embedded youtube issue though!!! Grrrrr.

iPad Mini has it now, but the barclays banking website was useless on it. After it reloaded it about six times it was fine. Only problem i've had. 
When I tested IO8 it was working again so its in the pipeline hopefully.

Updating fixed my IP4s wi-fi issue. Sadly as with all other 7.x.x updates the fix was short lived - I'm now back to no wi-fi again...

That's a marginal hardware fault. You can get a new IC at thecomputerroomnottingham for £39.
Hmm Update froze my phone
Did update
phone gets to the part where it updates and the progress gets suck about 2%
tried plugging into iTunes and pressing the power/home key at some so it pops up with recovery mode
then click restore iphone via itunes but again it freeze on doing the restore at 2%
tried doing a manual restore by downloading the ipsw file 7.1.1 and again freeze same place

am i missing something to try because im at a lost now and cant think of anything else to try? or be best to pop to the apple store

Haven't had many freezes... have had two since this update... one... when someone called me... it froze while ringing! So it was endlessly ringing & vibrating & I couldn't do anything to stop it... thankfully, after a couple of minutes, it figured itself out and rebooted... took about 10-15 minutes to recover from that one :S
