Hi,

Apple offer a 14 day return policy but I can't work out if I use / open a laptop if it will void it?

I kinda have been forced to have a Macbook Pro 15", as I need a Mac to develop a few apps for the iPhone etc, and it had to be a laptop.

I don't want to carry two machines so its going to replace my Dell.

Reason for the return question, is I have ordered a Mac that is more expensive then the cheapest option, but if I don't like it I'm returning it and getting the cheapest Macbook air and keeping my Dell.

As long as it is hasn't been abused :D like had stuff dropped on it or damaged, then yeah you can use it and still return within 14 days.

Thanks good to know.

Will be interested to see how it runs compared to my dual core i7 Dell.

I walked in with my MBA after 2 days in a bag. Charger was outside of the box.

"Can I return this please, its a MBP"
"Sure, can I have the receipt"
/hands it over
/few buttons pressed on iPhone
"Please come over here and put your card in"
/seconds later, remove card
"You may take you card now"
/takes bag off me, walks off

Didn't even check the laptop, was in and out of the shop within minutes.
