apple sales?

doubt it at all. never seen a big after christmas apple sale. especially not macbook pros tbh.
 
From what I've read they rarely do sales and if they do they are usually pants.
Which is a shame, quite fancy a macbook if I could find a good deal, prob worth keeping an eye on the refurb section of the store.
 
i can get HE discount on them but even with that they are so expensive. I have 6 months of uni left so better go for one while I can i suppose! Its hard to pay out about £1300 for 15" MBP when I know I could get a decent windows laptop for around £800 which would do me grand until uni is over!

but you wont get any problems with a mac ;)
 
Well don't get a Pro then if an £800 Windows machine is more than adequate. Get a MacBook or something. Or an £800 Windows machine. Just wait for Vista first.
 
i was gonna get a macbook but the screen is really too small for me. Eventually after uni is over Il still be using it for photo/video editing and possibly some web design so something a wee bit bigger would be better job.

Il prob end up holding off so long that il end up getting nothing!
