Apple to use Conroe CPU?

I'm think about selling up and going over to apple..

Does any one know if Apple intend to use Conroe CPU's in their systems once released?

If so iI'd rather wait till then and go for some thing with a bit more punch.

I have heard rumblings but not with the Conroe core... with the workstation equivalent... wont be untill next year though

I haven't heard anything but you could just get the core duo and replace it straight with a merom when they come out.

Since Apple is Intel's new playboy, and Intel's relationship with Dell has gone wholly crap, I would dare say that Apple will get something more Xeon-based than just Conroe, with Conroe in the Macbook line and small desktops... The G6 (or whatever it will be called...) will be one hell of a system, I'm sure of it...
