Apple tv 2 slow streaming

Hi all

Just bought apple tv2 and have spent the afternoon playing, if I stream stuff straight from the store eg trailers etc it takes about 10seconds then streams away

If I try And play a movie I have recorded on my iPhone over AirPlay it takes a good 30/40 mins before it will start playing my 10min video!!

Anything I'm doing wrong here? This doesn't seem right.

I can't offer much help sorry, other than I used to have this issue but over time it seemed to fix itself.
Are you airtiming recorded camcorder clips or movies?
I did read somewhere that the router security can possibly play a part in slow airtime, but like I said mine fixed itself over time.

not sure if this is the case, but often times the poor streaming over atv2 is to do with the DNS server (i know it shouldnt affect airplay) but it may be no harm to put some fast dns servers in manually
