Apple TV Network issue

Hello,

I've just bought a very shiny new Apple TV. However, inevitably I'm having an issue.

The network I use requires me to click "I Agree" when I start using the internet before it allows access. Clearly there is not an option to do this with the Apple TV as it doesn't have a browser.

Does anyone have any ideas how I might be able to get around this? Can a browser be loaded on via jailbreaking or anything like that?

Many thanks

SS

Hi there. i dont no if this will work or not but give it a try anyway dude. if you log into your royter i.e: 192.168.2.1 or wotever your gateway address is. Is there a setting where you can enter a dmz host ip address. if you can find the IP of the Apple TV and then enter the IP into the dmz host. This should bypass all security you have setup on your network and allow it to have have full access at all times. Give it a try and let me know man.

Regards,

Andy

I seriously doubt he'll be able to put an IP in a DMZ if he has agree to a policy before accessing the Internet.
