Can you stream from the App to a Chromecast? My wife and I have an iPhone and a Android phone, both with the Apple apps. We are unable to get either to stream to the chromecast on our bedroom tv. Is this function just not available on the app or am i just missing a trick? (please move if in wrong section)

You can't cast the Apple TV app to Chromecast, but you can cast from the Chrome web browser. Go to the Apple TV site in Chrome, and then click the menu icon > Cast > Select your Chromecast from the Cast menu. If you have a Chromecast with Google TV, you can download the Apple TV app and don't need to cast.
