Apple TV to Projector

I need to connect an Apple TV (HDMI) to a projector that only offers VGA. This is so we can Airplay an Ipad onto the Apple TV and then project it.

Would something like *Do not link to auction sites please* do the job?

Not had direct experience of this but it's what I'd go for if I was in your position.
