Apple Tv vs Sky?

Apple TV, you can only stream stuff from your own library of content on other computers in the house, and rent content to stream from iTunes. That is just about it, I may be missing something.
Sky, hundreds of broadcast, live channels, Sky player with loads of on-demand shows, and HD and 3D content.
They're not really supposed to be compared.

Exactly QwaF has said, its a dumb box that allows you to stream your own media or as an rental service from iTunes, which I feel is the main purpose of the box.
As it stands its not bad (price wise) if you're serious about renting films etc, and obviously if you're more geek minded set it up with your computer/iTunes to stream your content to it.
