Apple TV worth it ?

I've heard plex connect can be a bit flakey, any truth in that?
With offers on the new Amazon box, bringing it to £65, it's worth stumping up the cash for.
 
Seemed fine when I used it. Mine was hard wired in and played back everything in my library. Now I'm on the latest gen with the official app it's perfect but then I'm also a plex pass subscriber not sure if that makes any significant difference.
 
Does the ATV 4th gen have a sleep function ? Reason i ask is i like to watch netflix at night, but netflix keeps on playing the episodes for you automatically, until after 5 or so when it decides that you're either dead or asleep...

Anyway I'm in the US and my internet service provider Comcast spit spit spit !!!!! has recently started capping data to 1TB per month, and well i'm having to always watch my last few days towards the end of the month, to not get hit with overage charges.

My PS3 shuts off after an hr if i don't touch anything which is perfect. if im watching a movie, i have to press a button at the 10min warning. but i can live with that !
 
bump, is there a sleep timer on the thing ?

** edit ** according to apple there is, but it doesn't say the options? A 4hr sleep timer of inactivity is as good as not having one. I'm on metered internet
