Apple warranty question.

Hello guys and girls,

Need a straight answer as I can't fine one on the net.

I dropped my ipad mini down the stairs and smashed the screen
And in the corner of the LCD is blacked out.

It's still under warranty until April 2014, will apple repair/replace
it for free or have I got to paid for it?.

You would have to pay for repair, as this physical damage and not defect of the unit.

Not sure to be honest, you could try fixing yourself or have a search around the net for repair centres around Essex.

I've been quoted £105 for full repair. For me to do it it will cost about £80 for parts
But I don't have the know how to do it. Lol
