Try going into your settings on your phone or ipad, clicking your name and seeing if the watch appears in your list of devices
You can try removing the device from that list but I don't know if it deletes your apps and resets your settings. People have suggesting restarting your watch and phone simultaneously
On the watch open up the default “now playing” should display it on the watch. Regardless of whether it’s being played from YouTube, music, overcast etc
There’s a little “play” icon that flashes at the very top middle of the screen, if not open it by going to the list of apps.
