<N00b question alert>
Call me an idiot, but how do I contact AppleCare? Is it phone or email or online form?

My MBP is now 1.5yrs old and the battery's done 92 cycles but only lasts 20mins (reports to be 29% health), and from reading this thread it looks like it should be covered... but I can't see how to contact them :confused:

Thanks. 0870 876 0753 it says, guess they haven't changed it....

To get technical support over the phone, please call 0870 876 0753. Lines are open Monday-Friday 0800-1945 and Saturday 1000-1745. If your product is within its 90-day complimentary support period or covered by an AppleCare Protection Plan, you will not have to pay for the support. Otherwise, you may purchase per-incident support for £35.

Just call them up at say you have a problem. I was never charged to talk to someone who will then simply get me to take it to the store which is where this is going to go.

I phoned up, said it had been calibrated number of times, they sent a new battery to the closest apple store/apple reseller, it was swapped out, easy peasy! :)

Wow that's good support. Years ago I had a Sony Vaio (two bloody grands worth) and after just over six months the battery started to fail. Sony support told me it wasn't covered and I'd need to spend £90 on a new battery.

And remember this MBP was bought in the New York (summer 2007 with nice £:$) and the extended warranty was bought there too... :D

£88 is what the battery would be normally.

The great warranty is one of the reasons why I can personally justify the extra cost of an Apple over competitors products. :)
