Anyone here used the Apple Reuse & Recycling Programme?

I have an old 2007 MacBook Pro that I no longer use, I've moved back to building gaming PC's now! So I am looking to get rid of this old Mac system.

Just wondering if anyone here has used this programme, did they pay you the agreed amount, any idea what they do to your system after they receive it (sell it on again or strip it for parts, etc).
