So I finally got round to installing the crystalHD card into my atv1 yesterday and got about to installing the crytsalbuntu linux distro. As the Tv downstairs only has component for better quaility display, I need to change the xorg.conf file in order to output over component.
So I use cyberduck to access the file, then open the file up in textwrangler, do the edits required, hit save and i get the following message:
'Permission denied (SHH_FX_PERMISSION_DENIED) The user does not have sufficient permissions to perform the operation'
Its been a while since ive done any terminal use and I really hate vi/nano. Does anyone have a fix, Ive tried changing the permissions via cyberduck for the file and folder but its not having any of it
