Evening all.

We're in need of a new fridge freezer - freestanding. To replace our aged Siemens. The door has dropped, two of the shelves are broken, as is the ice tray.
We need an induction hob too, ours will only power any 2 zones at one time. Kuppersbusch
Also, just to really kick us in the goolies, the integrated oven trips the electric on certain modes. So that needs to go, and we might as well get a matching oven/microwave combo above. Both Neff.

So given the need for every major appliance into the kitchen bar the dishwasher, I feel like I'd like to go for all one brand, but is that kinda daft?

The reviews for modern Neff is kinda mixed, seems to be lesser quality than days gone by.
Bosch, Siemens, Neff, Samsung kinda mark I reckon. Although Miele isn't off the cards, or maybe Fisher Paykel as the dishwasher has been faultless.

Wwyd :)

Neff is just fancy bosch stuff. Both are superb imo pick one for your induction and go for the highest W that your circuit can do, oven just get the same brand you pick for the induction and make sure it has pyrolytic cleaning.

Miele is the daddy but you’ll have to pay for it. I wouldn’t get one of their fridges though, get a Samsung fridge freezer.

Fisher Paykel is just rebadged candy or Haier stuff so don’t pay the extra for it.

Just kitted out my kitchen with NEFF everything except American FF which is Samsung. Can’t fault it. However, good luck getting hold of the good NEFF stuff… global supply chain and all that.

PS, seems like you may need to upgrade your sparks. Our induction hob, oven and combi mwave oven are on their own 3 supplies.

I had mostly Neff in my old house when I re-did it. Just did my kitchen in the new place and picked Bosch this time around due to a 5 year warranty promotion.

The hob is pretty much the same, even down to the menu, oven operates the same but with a slightly more ugly fascia, dishwasher is pretty much identical… you get the gist.

I’d say there’s a bit of a trickle down, Siemens get the shiny shiny super new, then Neff, then Bosch but choose what works for you.

Ref whether to pick and choose, I generally match visible items although extractors can be semi specialist depending on what you go for.

Thank you for the input guys.
N50/N70 range on the Neff looks to do what I'd like.
Duly noted on the Samsung fridge, the Mrs has found one she likes so I guess that's got the go ahead.

So siemens/neff/bosch are all fundamentally the same? In that order.

Fisher Paykel seems a cut above, struggle to believe its Candy.

Without checking it’s something like (Neff->Bosch) N50 is similar to series 4, N70 similar to series 6 and N90 similar to series 8.

Assume Siemens is similar.

Neff had some fancy bits that Bosch didn’t have when I was looking like the N70 had a trim piece to join an oven and microwave oven combi in a unit so it looked swish etc. same for a warming drawer.

Think Neff also have uniqueness on slide and hide.

Having had both ovens, as long as it has rapid heating and pyrolytic cleaning I’m set. Circotherm and 3D/4D hot air are quite nice too for uniformity.
