Hi,
I rebuilt my desktop last week with R7 3700X, 32GB Team 3600RAM and ASUS TUF X570 board.
The rebuild was to speed up my Astro photography processing with a product called PixInsight which is processor and RAM hungry - e.g. I may process 200 x 9MP images at the same time to register and stack them into a single image.
The system works fine for everything except PixInsight, which is probably the only thing that pushes the system. I get random crashes, sometime under load, sometimes before I even get chance to load any images. This software was rock solid with my old system, never had a single issue.
The error messages below are from the Pix console and probably wont mean much but I'm hoping there is enough there for someone to be able to suggest how I go about finding the issue.
"PCL Win32 System Exception " at address 00007FFBC2AFAA09 with the exception code C0000005 Access violation: Invalid Memory Read Option at address..."
I also have a screen print of some errors but don't seem to be able to post them here - they refer to errors and give what look like memory addresses.
I'm wondering if it could be a memory issue - its odd that everything else works but then maybe only PixInsight is using more than a fraction of the RAM
