applications crash quite often

so... ever since i've had this machine it likes to crash on me... completely random it will just shutdown whatever it doesnt like... mostly my games or firefox.

the thing about the crashes is, its more like a shutdown of the application but instantly. no lag or freeze up. it will just crash straight to desktop...

i get it too often ATLEAST 3 times a day. and its driving me crazy specially when im in the middle of action in my game...

does some one have some insight on what might be causing this? if it matters im running 32bit xp (lol) even though i have 4gb ram

i cant help but think its ram related but i know only a little bit of everything so im not too advanced.

List your pc parts

And are you stock or overclocked,those symptoms can be not enough CPU voltage aswell
