Applying for Bank Accounts online?

Hi all,

Anyone recommend an online bank account that can be setup online? I need to shift some funds around to confuse MI5

Seriously, I want to setup an account without having to waste time going into a branch so that I can get a hold of my finances properly. I want to get an account up and running purely for bills so that I can set a S.O. up to transfer money across to it as soon as payday arrives. The said account must also include a debit card (visa type) so bills can be set up against it.

I set up my Nationwide current account online with no problems. Comes with a Visa debit card.

Most banks allow you to apply for an account online these days.

I set one up recently for Alliance and Leicester as they give £100 if you move your current account to them as well as £50 cashback from topcashback.

I'll take £150 thank you!

Nationwide also do a 2.00% e-savings account too but only if you have an existing account with them
