I want to apply for a student loan from the government. I've looked at the DfES website and what I understand from the badly written government nonsense is that I need a PN1 form. Is that the right one?

It's 28 pages long, and I don't fancy printing it, but where do I pick it up from? My first guess would be the Post Office, but they always have such long queues, I'd rather know than wait an hour in a queue and find it's the wrong place.

Bump. I really need to know because I'd like to go out and get it now.

Summary
  • Student loan needed
  • PN1 Form
  • Where do I get it?
  • Post Office?

You need to go to your LEA and get one or you can phone the Student Loans company and they should send you one, if you are currently in college or sixth form then they might also have the forms availible for you (my college did).

LEA = Local Education Authority by the way and should be at your councils civic centre.

Well its called the civic centre in Wolverhampton anyway :P
