Hey all,

Quick bit of advice if you don't mind. I've found two jobs I'm interested in, both at the same company but two different grades. One is a general technician, the other is desktop support. Both have different pay, one is permanent and one fixed term 3 months.

Would it be frowned upon, do you think - If I applied for both?

Thanks

I wouldn't think so.. Just as long as you have a good answer to the question: "why do you want to work for this company?"

Don't see the problem, just don't overly tailor your application for each post or they'll think you're just making it all up :)

I figured I'd just leave it the same for both applications. However, the lower paid short term position is perhaps not worth giving up my current job for. Three months just isn't long enough.

well yeh, you wouldn't go from a permanent job to a fixed term for 3 months, if that is indeed your situation.

Hi i want to apply for a job that i don't want. What should i do ? :P lol wow

Sorry but what are you on about? I was considering applying for another position there also, however after discussion with people outside of this forum decided against it due to it being only 3 months. lol wow at you too ;)
