Hi,

I got a packet of screen protectors for my iphone and so far I've applied two - badly. :p

I just can't get them to go on without a million air bubbles appearing underneath. Even trying to apply the plastic protector a wee bit at a time and flattening it out as I go. Thing is there are a few scratches already on the screen, could they be the cause of the air bubbles?.

I've got 4 left, any advice on applying them properly would be useful and welcome!!.

I hate putting these ******** on but with a little care it gets done.

What I do is align one end onto the phone and then slowly lower it with the protector slightly curved so it gradually press onto the screen a little bit at a time. I'll also run my finger on the protector that has been applied to the screen forcing out any air bubbles before they cause anger.

Pack of 6 on the bay, they were about the same price as all the others?.

So I should go to a shop and purchase the dearest ones I can find?.

Why would you need a pack of six in the first place? I paid £6 for a single one, but it could be reapplied is thick enough to be placed on the screen without bubbles. If it's thin and floppy (fnar fnar), then you'll never get it bubble free.

I dunno?. I bought a pack of 4 from the same seller previously for my Vario IV and they went on no problem. I assumed a bit of sticky plastic was just that - a bit of sticky plastic!!. :D

Some are a very thin slice of plastic, which will work well if you use soapy water. Problem is, you can't get the phone wet! The stiffer ones are great, easy to apply and no bubbles. If you get it wrong you can always peel it off, wash it was warm water, shake it off and try again :)

Worked out what was wrong. I was just cleaning the screen with the screen cloth. However, once I used a liquid screen/lens cleaner and then applied one of the protectors, it went on flawlessly, not a bubble in sight. ;)
