Applying to do a MA/MSC - similar to undergrad?

Hi all,

I'm interested in doing a Masters next year in the field of International Relations / the middle east and theres a few courses which have caught my eye. Now I was wondering do you apply for several courses (similiar to UG but obviously not through UCAS) or just one?

Is this a 1 year extension to a degree you already have? Otherwise an MA/MSC is a 4 year undergraduate course that you apply for through UCAS?

Regardless of that you can apply to as many places as you like if you apply directly to the universities (just like you can apply for as many jobs as you like etc etc).
