Leadtek GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail £244.99

Im looking to tickle the processor a little over the 2.6Ghz margin and would like to hear any coments on coolers, was thinking artic freezing pro 7? Although I've heard I might be able to reach this with stock cooler?

My PSU is a Tagan 2Force TG530-U22 (530W) will this need to be upgraded?

Love to hear coments on graphics card. Im running a samsung 205BW 20in wide at 1600x1050 and would be running BF2 and CSS at that res with some eyecandy :P

As you can see from sig my current spec struggles at this only producing 20fps with x2AA x2AF CSS!! Having to run at much lower res with no AA :(

Thanks in advance for comments and advice :)

The PSU is enough for the GTS so no need for upgrade.

If you are only aiming to OC 2.6Ghz then save some cash and go for the E6300 OEM, you should be able to reach 2.8Ghz 400FSB easily.

And yes the 8800GTS will handle games at that resolution very well, with plenty of rooms for other eye candies.

Thanks :) What about the CPU cooler?

I'd advise either the Tuniq tower or the Zalman CNPS 9700, but the arctic freezer is still good.

well if you want a first hand recommendation, I own the Zalman 9700 and I've been really pleased with it. Cools really well, and looks cool too. Deffinetly worth the money.

Had problems in past with really big heatsinks pulling on motherboards in tower cases. How well does the Zalman fit and how badly does it pull on the motherboard?

Ive actually seen a cracked motherboard due to large HS hang on motherboard in tower ... and Ive had problem where mavity slightly pulls the HSF away from the CPU causing some interesting but scary heat spikes!

Thanks for all comments.
