Apprenticeship

Hi guys,

Just a quick question, If I do an apprenticeship in offshore work, will it gain me the necessary qualification in order to start full time work offshore or will I have to take an extra course ?

Surely that would be down to the employer and what they give you?

Completely down to the course.

For reference, I'm 15 months through a four year apprenticeship for Instrumentation and Measurement Control for off shore, and the qualifications I gain by the end of it allow to me walk into my respective job at the end of it, as well as having a BOSIET certificate all paid for (which I start in February!).

Short answer: yes, that's the point of an apprenticeship.
