Hi,

Probably a silly question, but please bear with me!

I have had a 'mobile' gmail account for some time, and used it to install about 280 apps from the Play Store onto an 'old' mobile, from which the SIM has now been removed, but which still 'works', and has Wi-Fi access.

Having now bought a new mobile, and wishing to start again from scratch, I have already set up a new gmail account on it, which is still associated to my 'real' name, so that if I open Google on my PC I can view both accounts.

I now want to re-install a single Co-Pilot app, which was purchased on my 'old' account, but I don't want my new phone to start installing all my other 'old' apps, which I am afraid is what will happen if I simply add my 'old' gmail account to the phone, in addition to the new one!

What is the best way to go about doing this please... or am I worrying unnecessarily?

Thanks! :)

(Hope this all makes sense!)

Google won't automatically install your "old" apps if you add your other gmail account. All you old apps will appear in the Play store in the "ALL" section of "My apps & games", they will have an X against them if they aren't installed.

Alternatively if you add your old gmail account and search for an app you have already purchased it should give you the option to install it.
