apps restore on itunes??

Hi

so i updated from 4.1 to 4.2.1 (iphone 3gs) and basically lost all my legal purchased apps!

So i though to my self "that's pretty gay" and hunted desperately for a purchased apps tab in itunes but i only found a few songs i had got and no apps tab!!!!


is there an easy way to restore them all? or do you have to remember each one you bought and thrall through the apps store to find them?

ps an i did backup first but i guess apple assume a back up is for your old text messages and contacts! pretty fail tbh.

Click on your email address to open you iTunes store profile.

Click "purchase history"

Scroll through list

Re-download apps.
 
Hi, had an issue yesterday with iTunes and sync where it essentially removed all my applications.

This, ultimatley, lead to the demise of my angry birds games and all the levels I unlocked.

Is it possible to back this vital data up some how? I don't think its included in the standard iTunes backup, is it?
 
If jailbroken you can copy the applications folder for it and it will have your save data in there, believe its in /var/mobile/applications

I too lost all my games recently, Real Racing 2, Angry Birds, Cut The Rope (4 worlds 3 starred :( ) so have started to do this myself
