apps to monitor core temp & fan speeds

I just got that coretemp program, is it normally accurate?

Asus probe is rating 29 degrees for my cpu, thats after 20 mins of CSS just now, and core temp is saying each of my cores on my e4300 are 21 degrees. Surely they cant be that low

Or you could just use Everst Ultimate Edition as that measures everything and allows you to place the readings in the quick launch bar at the bottom.

As a bonus, you can set it up as a Vista sidebar gadget.

RPM sounds right for a AF7 Pro on full whack.

Also, the tools I use for monitoring CPU temps is Core Temp. Never really found a reliable program to monitor my case fans, so I tend to go off what I have them set too on the little switch attatched to them (Low/Medium/High).

After googling, people suggest that you should disable Linkboost and Nvidia GPU ex in the BIOS to get it back to 1.2v. But you probably want a better explanation or opinion on that, since I have no idea what it is and just had a look on google :)

It overclocks the PCI-e.

Have you read the manual? It should explain all this in there m8.

Not really the pc was bought already made from OC UK Ultima 8800 GTS so i assumed they would sort all this out

Do you think i should contact them?

Is it pre-overclocked? If so and you are really worried then go into the bios and reset defaults. The voltage used isn't exactly excessive its just 'out of spec' according to asus' monitoring software.

Yes it is pre-over clocked il just leave it for now and email them tomorrow. What exactly should i say to them? surely they should test it before they sell it anyway?
