Well I have ubuntu installed, i like it as an os.

I have most things working, have my ATI card installed with full 3d and opengl accerlation working.

But I still need windows for MSN, Outlook, XDA, Newsgroups.

For MSN i know i can use GAIM however I use a number of features in MSN eg the video conferencing , remote assitant etc.

I use Outllok and sync it with my XDA but not found an alternative, last time i checked Thunderbird had issues with large PST files and did not fully intergrate with exchange.

I use Forte Agent and not sure about a linux alternative.

So any suggestions to fill the gaps ?

Cheers

Hmmm Evolution? Or maybe Sunbird I think this is an area where linux is lacking sure Outlook may suck mostly, but it does some nifty things.

Loads of newsreaders depending on your preference. I quite like slrn, but check out http://www.newsreaders.com/unix/clients.html

I've also recently moved to Linux (Kubuntu).

For newsgroups I'm using Klibido, and msn is covered by Kopete (which rocks :p).

Klibidio is pretty basic, and a far cry from Newsleecher that I was using in windows, but it works so ho hum :)

Oh, and just how good is amaroK !
