Apps won't run iPhone 3g

Updated to 2.01 last night, all seemed to go fine and synced my phone.

Was messing around with ringtones and then shut my pc down forgetting my phone was still plugged in

now when i try open an app such as parlingo or poker i get the splash screen and then it just goes back to the home screen

The apps are in my iTunes but I can't see how I restore them

Delete them from the iphone then reinstall them. Should do the trick.

Keep hold of one of the icons i.e keep ahold of the poker icon on the main screen. It should start to shake, if they have a cross in the top left remove them.

This happened to me as well with the apps closing a second after I had opened them, I fixed it like Vegeta said, however note that you will lose any data/settings associated with the apps you remove :\

I have had this issue on 2.0, installing a new app or an update to an app seems to fix it sometimes as well.

Nice tip i installed an app, did an update and they are all working fine again
