April 5th is International Tabletop Day!

Anyone doing anything special for this? I think It's supposed to be about getting new players involved who wouldn't normally consider boardgames as something that can be fun, social and is for people of all ages.

We're planning on playing RISK 2210, Flashpoint, Settlers of Catan and maybe squeeze in some quicker games of something such as King of Tokyo.

To me, Tabletop only means RPGs and polyhedral dice.
Board Games are.... well, board games.

I might see if the old crew and DM are up for a session, but the mrs will probably drag us into something inane like Monopoly instead!!

Going to the FANG event at a pub in Nottingham. Not sure of the numbers but would expect 20+. Haven't got a clue what we will be playing, will see what comes up.

It's also my birthday! I'm having a gaming (tabletop and otherwise) party for it, but ironically it's the week after, not on tabletop day!

I might get Carcassonne out with the missus but I'm out tonight, so tomorrow is more likely to be hangover day - I'm such a lightweight!
