April Fool's gags

Surrey University announced it was changing it's logo/emblem from a stag to a duck this morning on Linkedin.. because a student vote noted that ducks where more prevalent on the campus than stags.
 
I'm absolutely gutted. I completely forgot what day it is and thought this was real. Didn't even watch the video, just clicked straight through to pre-order that case. Hell, I was half-considering the monitor despite the complete impracticality of all that unnecessary space. I was already wondering if I could take the back off and maybe make it into a storage compartment for all the various cables and doo-hickeys I have like my external SATA connector, etc.

Well, you got me OC. I had a good laugh.

(But if you want to make this, I'll buy! :D )
 
Is building retro PC's a thing? I have a weird hankering for making a decent spec pc like Voodoo 3 era to play games from that era on an old CRT. Yes I know all can be done virtually/emulated.

+1, take me back (I'm a bit young to remember much of the 90s, but I sure remember the aesthetic and my first games / games my neighbour had)! I think the 'cheat codes you'll love' bit at the bottom actually brought me the most nostalgia.

Also, genuinely think a modernised beige case might actually sell quite well :cry:
