Hey guys!

I have an aquaero 5 on my PC with pretty much all 9 of my fans connected to it, there are 7 of those fans in particular that I would like to adjust the speed of in relation to the temperature of my CPU (they are all cooling a water loop for it).

How would I go about doing this and what would I need to do it?

Many thanks! Please be aware im a complete noob to all of this!

I got aquaero 6 pro and I believe it will be the same on yours. On the back you have fan inputs. I believe there are 3 or 4 so if you connect fans you want there you will be able to control them in group. For example Fan header 1 for front fans, fan header 2 for rear etc. Then you download program from aquacomputer for aquaero and you set it from there (note you have to connect usb to aquaero unit.

To adjust it according to temperature you would need aida64 so you can get temps for cpu gpu etc to aquaero software. Im not sure if you can use other program but this is the one I use.

Lastly I think there is a video on youtube how to set it up
Hope this helps

Cheers dude! Ive got everything hooked up as you said and couldn't work it out. Didn't realise I needed another software program!

Ive tried using the aida64 to control my fans but I really can't work out how to use it in that fashion. Im not sure if I should be setting it up on aquaero or aida64 and neither seem to be obvious.

Ive looked on youtube and I couldnt find anything nor could I find anything on a google search that made sense.

To have true control you need temp a temp sensor in your loop. Setting a curve control for the fans on the temp sensor.

EG temp of loop 30C fans 25%
temp 35C Fans 50% etc etc

Then test the components loaded and see the temps they reach and adjust your curve to make sure you have the balance correct between cooling and noise output of the fans.

8Pack systems are so overspec on watercooling that they can often be run passive at zero load with ambient of 20C and below.

Thanks for the feedback both. I've done some curves with MSI afterburner for my GPU (8pack inspired 970 infinity) I presume it will be the same situation with the others?

Ill be getting a probe or two to add to the loop soon, thanks for that. My loop is seriously overkill for my CPU with 1 360 rad (x6 fans) and 1 120 rad (just 1) as it used to have 2 GTX 580's on there and I just can't see a reason to butcher the bodywork of the GPU being as its cooling itself fine. I just hate the fact that the corsair fans im using are insanely loud.
