If AMD were even remotely good at marketing, they would be doing what Nvidia do-making you think you need it, that's why Nvidia have double the userbase.

Bit of a general statement. Whenever AMD dont do well, its due to something they have done. either no stock, or too expensive, or not fast enough, or used new tech or crap marketing blah blah blah, its never that the opposition own them.

Personally, I dont need Nvidia cards and if ATI where still ATI without AMD ruining them, I'd gladly buy an ATI card.

Well,the new reorganisation might do that. Raja Koduri was originally at ATI,so hopefully they will become more focused.

TBF,I just want a choice and I want some good competition - its not good when one is flailing around!
