My little aquastream yellow and grey s board blew I shut down the system and bled it out then had a look at the board on the rear of the pump it The Eheim type pump. The board had indeed blew. I decided to unsolder the board and connected an isolate 12 v power supply to it and without the board it works. So does anyone think by running it on 12 volts will burn it out? I realise I will lose usb conection and flow rate and other things but I love the Eheim pumps they aren't the best looking but they last for years with parts readily available . So can I hook it up or not take the chance. I bought an ugly little EK pump to do for now but looking at it it wouldn't last long OR does anyone know where I can buy a board in the UK as all know Aquastream have a horrible habbit of writing and talking German and its so much hastle

It shouldn't just blow for no reason like that. Two things that I can think of that would cause it to blow are water leakage on electronics and plugging in the Aquabus when flow meter mode is on. If it did blow without one of those factors being the cause, then I guess it's just random bad luck. You'll have to get in contact with Aquacomputer one way or another if you want it fixed. Nobody official in the UK deals with it AFAIK.
