Hi,

Ok I was going to drill and tap a aquatube so i could fit 1/2" tubing but this will void the warranty which i am not keen on. So I can get a connector thats converts 1/8" thread to 1/4" and then get a 1/4" to 1/2" barb, but this will cause a constriction in the system. So on another fourm someone suggested this:

"Why not use your res as an acess point to a T-line? It will still hold water and make bleeding air easier"

I am not quite sure what they mean, does it mean the following:

So I have the Aquatube either mounted vertically or horizontally in the top of my Lian Li v2000 and the pump is going to be at the bottom in a 3.5" bay. So from what you have said i basically attach a t-line directly to the Aquatube and then tubing from the tline to the pump --> Rad ---> CPU ---> GPU ---> Chipset (not sure if i am having this yet) ---> t-line is that correct??

Would the aquatube still cause a restriction if i did this?

A T line is a junction that is err...T shaped. It can be from any point in the loop. Think of the aquatube as a DD fillport.

BTW there were aquatubes sold with bigger threads...unlucky.

Thanks weescott, but i am getting the limited addition acrylic tubes so they are all 1/8" threaded. Gonna go with the Aquatube as a fillport me thinks ta.

I was about to say... why not just get a Innovatek Fass o'Matic.

They are typically an Aquatube or should i say... similar replicas and they are 1/4 threaded intended for use with 3/8" or 1/2" tubing

Several reasons I am not going for the Innovatek Fass o'Matic:

1. Can't find a shop selling the damn things, did a google and nothing comes up for the UK.

2. There Aluminium and I would like to avoid having aluminium in my loop.

Its cool will just get a t line and do it that way.

You do know the aquatube is all aluminium, right? ;)

Think he said he'll be getting the Limited Edition Acrylic versions. Theres only one place i know who still has a few but afaik Aquacomputer only produced 50 unit and they were all sold out on the first week

if your lucky you might be able to find a copper aquatube as they made a few a cpl years back (one of which i have :) ) they sometimes pop up on ebay but are very expensive.
